He is a young man, driven and exceptionally intelligent. His passion for the industry was ignited by working alongside his father, Andriy, from a young age, during weekends and summers while in school. Progressing through high school, he took on more responsibilities within the company. When faced with the decision to pursue higher education and college sports or focus on the family business after graduation, he chose to aid in its growth. Through his hard work and innovative thinking, he has set a high standard for the company and inspired those around him to strive for greatness. Since then, he has dedicated himself tirelessly, envisioning providing top-tier masonry services across the Midwest.
Arthur’s dedication and commitment to his work have not gone unnoticed by his colleagues. He has been here since day one of the company over 2 decades ago. His wealth of experience and knowledge make him a valuable asset to the company, always willing to share his expertise with others. Despite his busy schedule, Arthur never fails to make time for his family, instilling in his children the values of hard work and perseverance. His leadership both in the workplace and at home serves as an inspiration to many, reminding everyone that success is not just about achieving goals, but also about the journey and the people we impact along the way.
He assisted the company during a summer before enlisting in the Air Force. Following years of service in the Air Force, he returned to Wisconsin and wholeheartedly committed himself to the masonry sector. Beginning as a field technician, he displayed exceptional diligence and dedication in his work. His passion for the masonry craft shines through in every project he undertakes. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, he leads by example, inspiring his team to strive for excellence. Through his years of experience and dedication, he has honed his skills to perfection, making him a valuable asset to the company.
Starting as a field technician, he honed his skills and knowledge, absorbing everything the industry had to offer. His dedication and hard work did not go unnoticed, leading him to the role of sales manager. Now, with his sights set on the horizon, he envisions expanding the sales team, driving growth, and propelling the company to even greater success. The future holds limitless possibilities, and he is eager to embark on this exciting journey towards new heights of achievement and fulfillment.
With her positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges, she quickly became an invaluable asset to our team. Steve Chavez serves as a Project Manager at A.O. Handy Inc., where he has spent years building a reputation for strong leadership and quality craftsmanship on the job site. His favorite part of the work is restoring and maintaining historical buildings, giving new life to structures that have defined Wisconsin’s neighborhoods for generations. Steve values the close-knit team and positive atmosphere at A.O. Handy, and that same sense of pride and teamwork shows up in every project he runs.
I was first introduced to the masonry trade while working for A.O. Handy Masonry during college, over 20 years ago. That early hands-on experience taught me the value of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and taking pride in a job well done—lessons that have stuck with me throughout my career. Since then, I’ve gained experience across a variety of trades including construction, finish carpentry, electrical work, and project management. Now coming full circle, I’m proud to once again be part of the A.O. Handy team, bringing both past experience and a well-rounded skill set to support the company’s commitment to high-quality masonry restoration.
With over a decade in construction sales, Brian has supported a wide range of projects, focusing on commercial and industrial work while continuing to assist select residential jobs. Before officially joining A.O. Handy Inc., he worked alongside the team from the outside, collaborating with contractors and clients to provide access solutions and expertise in scaffolding, shoring, and swing stages. Trained in masonry, Brian brings practical insight to job site challenges. Now part of the team, he offers versatility, strong client relationships, and a commitment to innovation and satisfaction.
Vlad brings a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of masonry to every job site. With a hands-on approach and a passion for building, he takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship that stands the test of time. Whether working independently or as part of a team, Vlad is known for his reliability and attention to detail. His commitment to doing things right the first time has earned him the respect of his colleagues and the satisfaction of countless clients. He continues to be a valuable part of the A.O. Handy team, helping to uphold the company’s reputation for excellence.
Vitally brings over two decades of experience in the home remodeling field, giving him a strong foundation in construction, craftsmanship, and problem solving. Over the past few years, he has transitioned into working as a mason, where he continues to build on his skills and take pride in supporting quality work on every project. His background allows him to understand the importance of doing the job right and contributing to a safe, well built result for every customer.
He enjoys being part of the team and values the close knit environment, where everyone works together and treats each other like family. In his free time, Vitally enjoys spending his summers fishing and relaxing outdoors.
Alfonzo has spent most of his life working in masonry and is a true craftsman in every sense of the word. His level of workmanship and knowledge in this industry has been built through years of hands on experience, dedication, and pride in doing the job right. Many people will never reach the level of skill and understanding he brings to the trade, and his work consistently reflects that commitment to quality.
He shows up early every day ready to work and takes pride in setting the standard for reliability and strong work ethic on every project. During the winter months, Alfonzo looks forward to traveling to Mexico, where he continues practicing his craft and sharpening his skills. His passion for masonry and drive to keep improving are what make him a valuable part of the team.
Philipp brings a creative spark and strategic mindset to everything he does. As the Marketing Director at A.O. Handy Inc., he leads branding, outreach, and digital campaigns with energy and precision. With a background in digital strategy and a knack for building strong connections, Philipp helps drive the company’s growth while making sure the message hits home.
Caleb is the engine behind A.O. Handy Inc.’s advertising efforts. With years of experience managing ad campaigns across platforms, he ensures every dollar spent brings in results. Calm, data-driven, and always thinking ahead, Caleb optimizes ad performance and keeps the pipeline full of new business.
He’s a hardworking guy who started the company over 20 years ago with one goal in mind: to build something his kids could be proud of and hopefully carry on together. Family means everything to him, and so does leading by example.
